Through my company, Cathryn Primrose-Mathisen, I have been providing scientific, technical and medical language editing (copy-editing and proofreading) services to companies, institutions, organisations and researchers around the world since 2010. Previously, I pursued a successful 14-year career with Fugro (www.geos.com and www.oceanor.com) with postings in Singapore, Houston (USA) and Trondheim (Norway) and roles including operations manager, sales and project manager, and senior oceanographer. I was involved in metocean measurement and real-time monitoring projects and also completed many fieldwork visits
installing and servicing instrumentation on moorings and offshore platforms, as well as analysing and reporting the results and presenting them at conferences. I worked with different clients including energy companies, governmental organisations and universities.
